Wheelchairs & Mobility Assistance in the Auditorium

Wheelchair and accessible seating are available to book directly online.

There are eight spaces in row A of the auditorium that can be used by patrons using a wheelchair.

  • Wheelchair spaces: Two wheelchair spaces are available for purchase online located in Row A (A7 and A26) and are clearly marked with a wheelchair symbol. These spaces do not have a seat attached.

  • Flat Access seats: Three seats next to each wheelchair space are available for purchase online that offer step-free access. These are marked as accessible seats when booking.

If these seats are unavailable, if you would like to book other seats in Row A, or have specific requirements; our Box Office team will be happy to help on 02 4823 4999 (Tuesday–Friday, 10am–3pm).

Prams & Mobility Walkers

Unfortunately, due to Evacuation and Safety procedures, prams and mobility walkers of any kind are unable to remain inside the auditorium during a performance. Before the performance begins, our lovely Usher staff will assist in escorting any prams or walkers outside the auditorium and will retrieve them during intermission and at the end of the performance. If you require your mobility walker at any time during the performance, please get the attention of our Usher staff and they will happily retrieve it for you.

Hearing Loop Available

Our auditorium is equipped with a Hearing Loop system to support patrons using hearing aids with a telecoil (T-coil) setting. Once the performance begins, users with compatible hearing aids can connect automatically by switching to the T-coil setting. As all hearing aids differ, we recommend contacting your hearing aid provider in advance to check compatibility. For more information about how hearing loops work, visit Hearing Link Services.
