About GPAC

A place for everyone. A place for something new.

In the heart of Goulburn, GPAC is a place to come together, experience live performance and discover something new.

From theatre, music and comedy to dance, circus, family shows and community performances, our program brings artists, audiences and the Goulburn community together all year round.

But GPAC is more than what happens on stage. It’s a place to meet friends, bring the family, support local performers, discover new artists or simply enjoy a great night out.

A new chapter for a much-loved place

GPAC lives within Goulburn’s historic Town Hall, on land known as Mulwaree by local First Nations peoples.

The redevelopment brought the historic McDermott Centre together with a purpose-built 403-seat theatre, creating a contemporary home for the performing arts while giving an important part of Goulburn’s history a new life.

Since opening in March 2022, more than 100,000 people have walked through our doors — and we’re just getting started.

Whether you’re a regular, a first-timer, a performer, a parent, a school group or simply curious about what’s on, you’re welcome at GPAC.

Come curious. Come as you are.
